Ushers have a vital ministry within the Church. They greet parishioners upon arrival and departure at Mass, collect contributions, arrange for someone to bring up gifts, seat parishioners, hand out bulletins.
For many people attending Mass, the Usher is their main source of contact. An Usher should be knowledgable, articulate, resourceful, and handy.
