CYO – Catholic Youth Organization

The CYO is a church sponsored organization created to provide opportunities for youth to flourish in a nurturing environment while performing meaningful community service, experiencing Christian fellowship, and while developing spiritual, social, and individual growth. Membership is open to individuals in the eighth grade through high school. CYO meets every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 in the Barre Center Youth Room. Children in grades 5-7 are invited to attend our Jr Youth Group, which usually meets in St. Joseph Hall from 7-8:30 pm on the second and last Tuesday of each month during the school year.

St. Jane CYO

Striving to reach out to our local young people in order to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus, their Catholic Faith and develop into the healthy young men and women God calls them to be through a comprehensive program inspired by Renewing the Vision from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Our programs include the following components:

  • social development (activities)
  • prayer/spirituality
  • social justice/service
  • knowledge of the Catholic faith
  • formation in the Catholic faith

Most of all we recognize the importance of family and the role they play in their children’s faith life and strive to work together with parents/guardians and the community at large.
