As many of you know, one of our Parishioners has been discerning Priesthood in the religious order of the Family of Jesus the Healer.
Just last week, August 16th, he professed in initial vows to the community. His entire family was able to make the trek over to the jungles of Peru, (which is quite a trek,) and the occasion was beautiful, spiritually uplifting, and entirely graced.
Continue to pray for Alex and his family. And pray, too, that all of those in our Parish who are being called to religious life, be it Sister, Brother, Priest, may respond graciously to the sacrifices which the life entails.
Discerning a Vocation is important to everyone in life, be it single, married, religious, priesthood. It takes time, prayer, and a dedicated spirituality to Jesus Christ, in His Church. And the only way to do it, is to just jump in and do it. Congratulations to Alex, now Brother Maximillian of the Immaculate, as he continues to discern what the Lord has in store.
We pray too, for all of those in our Parish who continue to discern their vocation in life, that they may be led by the Holy Spirit, true teaching, and the sacrifices which the Lord demands of us.
